Eunice, Maria, Oprah & us!

Last week, Mudpuppy & I came home from where ever we had been and Mudpuppy checked our e-mail.
"We have a couple of orders." she said. That's not so strange. Then she said "Wow." We didn't have a couple of orders, we had 179. On Friday we got slammed with orders....and it stayed that way for almost a week......we're starting to slow down...
When the orders started flooding in and we realized that 99% of the orders were for the "Well Behaved Women rarely Make History" shirt, we were puzzled. I thought perhaps there had been a rally that no one invited us to! A gathering we hadn't heard about......
it wasn't until Monday AM that I found out......
On the previous Friday, Eunice Shriver and her daughter, Maria were on Oprah. The shirt was mentioned.
That's all it took.
The power of celebrity!!
We've had many new shirts made. The small business that screenprints our shirts was thrilled and very helpful. We hired two friends. Mixed blessings there.
We've decided to go with a fulfillment house. For those of you that may not know, a fulfillment house ships orders. So, our shipping will be done by profesionals. Thankfully! Mudpuppy & I are thrilled! We'll have way more time, we'll be able to have more fun, design more shirts, go more places.......
I went to Oprah's site....sent her an e-mail. I thanked her. I haven't heard from her.
So...here it is Wednesday - almost two weeks after this shirt was mentioned and this is the first time I've had to talk to you.
We still have more orders........but we're catching up. If you ordered a shirt and you haven't received it....you might want to send us an e-mail.
