As Individual Fingers.....

Tomorrow evening I'll attend an event in the beautiful Federal Hill section of Providence. We will gather to celebrate the anniversary of Roe v Wade. I look forward to it, however, I'm not thrilled that we are not more bodacious about Alito. It seems to me that so many of the various groups out there are so splintered. We have the National American Indian Movement,receiving funds from the USA and setting itself up as a company while it goes after Ward Churchill. We have the National Organization of Women, Rhode Island chapter asleep at the wheel during this most important time. They're waiting to see who the state Dems endorse.
I could go on and on about these groups that focus on one or two majors issues and how that is not the way we are going to win this battle. The battle being the rescue of our government, our nation, our dignity, our privacy, our civil rights, our choices, our childrens futures. We are fighting for the very survival of our species. The saddest part, is that we are allowing the state Democrats to choose the candidate...yup...those Dems that have done such a fine job so far. The state chapter will wait until the Dems choose.Why?? Why should we be waiting for anything like that? These Dems have failed us. They've rolled up into a great big useless ball and failed us. And we're going to wait to see who we commit to based on who the state picks.I think not. We are the mothers, the sisters,the life bearers, we are the daughters, the waitresses, the hookers, the attornies, the soldiers, the wives, the abused, the young, the old, the hopeful and the desparate...we are the wmen and we must take the lead....
We should demand solutions or fire all of them.We should demand that they be held accountable on all of this horror.
Instead we are playing by rules set up those who follow no rules.
We need to join with all the groups, commitees, clubs, organizations that oppose Bushco.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend"
Let's all come together....
